Rest

In this post, I am sharing another lockdown experience. It is my prayers that by this we will learn to lean more on Jesus.

I was having my Industrial Attachment Training (This is a training in Nigeria students are sent to different industries or institutes to bridge the gap between the classroom and the industry, this is most after the long academic sessions of higher institutions. It is somewhat similar to internship )  before the lockdown started. Due to the lockdown, students and some members of staff of the organization where I had my training had to stop coming to work. We were told to stay home (and this lasted for 6 months). After the lockdown was eased, I resumed but upon resumption I was informed that I can’t continue and I went to my supervisor to talk to him about. He told me that I couldn’t continue and that all I had to do is to get a letter stating that I finished the training (this in it sense will defeat the purpose of the training). Immediately I heard this, I tried explaining to my supervisor but all to no avail. I went home and I told my parents about it.

I am probably ” the world’s most anxious man”  but I remember God’s Word in the book of Isaiah chapter 26 vs 3…..”You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you

Immediately, I held on to the word and prayed about the matter (it was a very very short prayer) and I just told God that I don’t know what He wants to do but He should walk things out the right way.

I felt at ease after the prayer, then I got a message from a senior colleague at work, I told him what my supervisor said and he felt helpless. After the chat with him, I decided to encourage myself in the Lord like David did in 1 Samuel 30 vs 6b and I messaged my supervisor. He didn’t reply the message, I put a call through to him a few days after and he told me to resume back. Joy, oh joy!

There are times when our plans don’t materialize and it seems as though things are not working out the way they should but God wants us to trust Him and rest on Him in perfect peace (the peace that transcends all understanding). He wants us to operate from a place of trust and total dependency in His sufficiency.

If we will stop worrying about anything and instead pray about everything, tell Him what we need and thank God for what He has done. We will experience His peace which goes beyond that which we can understand. His peace will guard our hearts and minds as we live in Christ (See Philippians 4:6-7, check different versions).

I end with an excerpt from the writing of my favourite role model; Steve Farrar  “in him we live and move and have our being. Acts 17:28” There is the reason for an untroubled heart. This is the medicine for whatever might be troubling your heart right now. No matter how hopeless our immediate circumstances, no matter how depressing our future may look, we are to believe in God the Father and His Son”.

We are a family, do well to share your experiences in the comments box. Your experience might be the answer someone has been waiting for, feel free to share.

Don’t forget to follow us, I love you 😍.

For our country, we know that our God is up to something. We may not see it yet but we will not be weary and discouraged. Our country will be the Lord’s

The Bigger picture

I pray this encourages someone. The story below is an experience I had during the lockdown.

Earlier this year, February to be precise, I got a call from a senior friend to ask for the rate of raising poultry birds, I called my dad, he told me and immediately I forwarded the message to the brother. We started negotiating and finally we agreed on a price. He later said he will get back to me. I started to pray to God to give us the contract (it is a big one), after almost a month and I didn’t get feedback from the brother, I put a call through to him and he said he will not be able to work with us. I was not too happy and I felt that God had let me down. Then after the semester the lockdown started and I had to come home, I had forgotten about the contract and moved on. One evening(about 4 months later), a young man in my area came to my house, he looked quite familiar, so we exchanged pleasantary. He came to discuss with my dad about purchasing poultry birds. Funny enough, he wanted exactly the same number as the earlier prospective buyer. I could not hold back my joy. I was very surprised and as I thought about what had happened, I heard God say to me “always trust me”

So many times, you are just like me, you pray and it seems as though God didn’t answer your prayers and you feel so unhappy but I want to reassure you that this is not true. God is so much concerned about you, He may not give you what you want but He will surely give you what you need. Even if you don’t see it, He is definitely at work.

Everytime God sees the bigger picture, He answers our prayers, even though it might not be according to our desires, but it is to the best of our interest. When it seems as though our prayers are not answered we begin to lose hope. I understand that “hope deferred makes the heart sick; Prov 13:12” but I want to tell you that ” God’s ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts than our thoughts (Isa 55:8)

Stop undermining God’s abilities. My God will use His glorious riches to give you everything you need. He will do this through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19)

This is me saying, ask and you will get and when it seems as though God is silent, He is not. He is working out something for you, you may not see it but trust me God is not sleeping on your matter. Gracias.

My amazing editor added this: “Even when we don’t see it, Abba is working, when we don’t feel like He is nears, El Roi, He sees us, He is mindful of us”.

Little foxes

Some times ago, I got caught up in a sin I thought I had overgrown. I was not so happy but in it I saw God’s help, I know that I am not alone in this.

There are some little habits or sin or tendencies that most times trip us, they are so little that we do not pay attention to them. I call them “little foxes”, though they are little they can spoil the vine. We must pay attention to them so they don’t be the end of us.

You remember Samson, Cain, Achan, Saul, Uzziah, Judas Iscariot etc. They paid little attention to their tendencies and they had to pay with their lives without being able to “fulfill their purpose here on Earth”.

Tendencies can be subtle; you think you have overcome them; you think those glimpses of envy, jealousy, self righteousness, anger, pride are just accidents. They are not, pay attention to them.

God has not left us alone in this, as for me, God revealed my tendencies through:

 His Word

Hebrews 4:12(MSG)

God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey.

2 Tim 3:16(MSG)

Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way

God’s Word shows us our mistakes and trains us to live God’s way, “God’s Word is very underrated”

AND

Circumstances or let’s call it life situations

I sometimes think I have scaled through some stages or that I cannot falter in some areas again but boom something happens and then I am lying helplessly in the pool of what I thought I had overgrown.

When we see those tendencies, it doesn’t necessarily mean we are bad or not born again or black slided, lol. It just shows that though we are believers we are still subject to human weakness because of our “unsaved mortal bodies”.

When we see those tendencies, we must not just wave them by, we must ask God sincerely for help on these matters.

A believer who will finish strong must not think that he cannot fall, he must be aware of his tendencies, he must evaluate himself as he is and he must trust God for strength and grace to stand firm above temptations daily.

A tendency left unattended to is like a spark, it will grow into a wild fire 🔥 which isn’t a good sight.

Jews or Gentiles

I had a conversation with an individual some time ago, in the course of the conversation, we delved into the subject of marriage. I was enjoying the conversation until the individual said that “believers should not marry Christians who are from a Muslim background“, I was shocked and sad.

The church is now an assembly of people from different obvious classes, we boldly show this in our church; we say some are poor, rich, from Christian background, from Muslim background and all sorts of other characteristcs. Who has bewitched us?

Stop your discrimination, we are all one in Christ! Galatians 2:8 clearly spells this out! “There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus”. (NLT).

God is not a racist, He will not make segregated churches for His children just like some governments make segregated schools for their citizens. God wants all of His children to grow together. God has no favourites (Gal 2:6)

A lot of time I see the church neglecting people who were once in the LGBTQ community, cultism and even premarital affairs who are now born again, we seem to have forgotten that they are new creatures and old things are passed away (2 Cor 5:17)

They belong here… “Now you are no longer strangers to God and foreigners to heaven, but you are members of God’s very own family, citizens of God’s country, and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian” (Eph 2:19 TLB)... Together, we are God’s house.

“That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together”. (Eph 2:19-21 MSG)

We are one… “By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which he has the final say in everything. (This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.) Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain—his Spirit—where we all come to drink. The old labels we once used to identify ourselves—labels like Jew or Greek, slave or free—are no longer useful. We need something larger, more comprehensive” 1 Corinthians 12:13 (MSG)

We did not become a Christian by being born into a Christian home, we became a believer by believing personally in what Christ did…  We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.(Rom 3:22 NLT)

Instead of discriminating, help them to grow in the knowledge of God.

Love, accept and serve the other members of Christ.

Do not forget, the way you treat other members of Christ’s body reflects how much you love Christ.

We are tired

This is a pressing matter in the church and we must address it. The aim of this is not to shade any one or any denomination. Please open your heart as you read. God bless you.

The church now burdens people with dos and don’ts, some of us have assumed the role of the Holy Spirit.

The church is not a place of rules and regulations, the church is you (a body that bears the LORD). I think it is high time we stopped “burdening” men with rules but teaching them the love of God and helping them have an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Gal 4:3 (NLT) And that’s the way it was with us before Christ came. We were like children; we were slaves to the basic spiritual principles of this world… We were like this before we knew Christ, but not anymore.

Matthew 11:18 (AMP) “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace]…. Obeying rules or principles is not the way, it only lead to weariness and lack of peace.

Gal 3:10 (ERV) “But people who depend on following the law to make them right are under a curse. As the Scriptures say, “They must do everything that is written in the law. If they do not always obey, they are under curse“…. Obeying laws lead to death because you cannot obey all.

You may want to ask, why do we have the law? My answer to you is in Galatians 3:19, 21-24 (MSG)

Verse 19; The purpose of the law was to keep sinful people in the way of salvation until Christ (the descendant) came, inheriting the promises and distributing them to us.

Verse 21-22; If such is the case, is the law, then, an anti-promise, a negation of God’s will for us? Not at all. Its purpose was to make obvious to everyone that we are, in ourselves, out of right relationship with God, and therefore to show us the futility of devising some religious system for getting by our own efforts what we can only get by waiting in faith for God to complete his promise. For if any kind of rule-keeping had power to create life in us, we would certainly have gotten it by this time.

Verse 23-24; Until the time when we were mature enough to respond freely in faith to the living God, we were carefully surrounded and protected by the Mosaic law. The law was like those Greek tutors, with which you are familiar, who escort children to school and protect them from danger or distraction, making sure the children will really get to the place they set out for.

The gospel is not first a call to change your dress or hair, it is a call to accept what Christ did on the cross.

The gospel is Christ calling you to take up His yoke upon you and learn of Him (following Him as a disciple) — Matthew 11:29.

In your walk with God, if you take up His yoke and follow Him you will find rest (renewal) for your souls.

Listen, God’s yoke is easy to bear and His burden is light.

Gal 5:6(NLT) For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself love. Express your faith in love.

Mark 12:29-31( MSG) The Lord your God is one; so love the Lord God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence and energy.’ And here is the second: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ There is no other commandment that ranks with these. Love your God with all their heart and also love your neighbor as yourself.

You are not a law enforcement agent, you are a believer… Stop painting Christianity as a world of laws, it is a walk of love.

You may not be so pleased with a brother or sister but before you go out to talk to them about it, you can try talking to God first about them and whatever it is about them

Have you been a victim of this? If yes, how did you manage it? What did you do? Or have you meted this out to people at any point in time? If yes, how did you snap out of it? Endeavor to share with us all in the comments box.

Not like flowers

In our generation, wickedness and unrighteousness is being celebrated, believers are being pressurized to live by the belief system of the world in which they find themselves.

We are tempted to follow the “flow” of the world against The Word

I read Psalms 37, it has a number of outstanding lessons.

Verse 1; I learnt never to envy evil people, they may be extremely rich or popular but it will eventually pass away, it will wither and vanish like the grass and flowers. For me as a believer, I have much more! (I am not like flowers) Treasures in heaven, oh joy! What an unbeliever gets may last him a lifetime, what I get from Abba lasts forever.

Verse 4&5: David admonishes us to take delight in Abba and commit all of our ways to Him. How do we do this? To delight in someone means to experience great joy and satisfaction when we are with the person and this can only happen when we know such person well! So to delight in God, we have to know Him! Knowledge of God’s great love for us will always give us delight, plus God is in us, we are delighted forever! To commit ourselves to the LORD means entrusting everything; our lives, families, career, possessions, everything even to the most minute to His control and guidance. This commitment means to trust Him, to believe that He can take care of us far better than we ever can and we should be willing to wait patiently for Him to work out what he has for us (37;7).

Verse 8&9; Anger and worry (fretting) are two very destructive emotions. They reveal a lack of faith that God loves us and is in control. We should trust instead of worry, we should give ourselves to Him for His use and safekeeping. When we dwell on our problems, we become anxious and angry, if we concentrate on God and His goodness, we will find peace.

Verse 11; Meekness doesn’t seem like the proper weapon to deal with our enemies. God’s warfare must be carried out with calm faith, humility before Abba and hope in His deliverance not forgetting that our weapons are indeed not carnal.

Verse 21; We can have a glimpse into an Individual’s personality by the way s/he handles money. The wicked steals under the guise of stealing, the righteous gives out generously to the needy. It is evident that the wicked is focused on himself, while the righteous looks out for the welfare of others like Abba always does.

Verse 23&24; The person in whom God delights is one who follows and trusts Him. Abba watches over such and makes friend every step of such. We should seek His advice before stepping out

Verse 25; Children starve today as much as they did during David’s time. What did David mean by these words? The children of the righteous need not give hungry because other believers can always help out.

In David’s time, Israel obeyed God’s laws that ensured the poor were treated fairly and mercifully. As long as Israel was obedient, there was enough food for everyone. When Israel forgot God, the rich took care of themselves alone and the poor suffered (Amos 2: 6-7).When we see a believer suffering today; there three possible approach; We can say like Job’s friend did that the person brought it upon himself. We can say that this a character development test from God; to develop patience and trust in God. We can help the person in needed. I’m sure David would endorse the third option. We don’t have an excuse for not helping the needy around us.

Verse 34; It is difficult to wait patiently for God to act when we want change right away. But God promises that if we submit to His timing, He will honour us.

There is more in this particular chapter, you can

Peter said, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time” (1 Peter 5:6). Be patient, steadily doing the work God has given you to do and allow God to choose the best time to change your circumstances

Remember, God’s Word is eternal and ever relevant because “God is Ancient of Days and also the Ultramodern of days” – Professor E. K. Adesogan

Our ideas, society and era may stand against God’s Word but we choose to follow Him.

Let me end with this; “The Christian should allow God’s Word to be his final arbiter on matters of morality and should not allow himself be bound by what the society says” — Professor E. K. Adesogan

Abigail

I will like to share this with you as it is a matter that has become prevalent in our days. Please come with me.

Check the book of 1 Samuel Chapter 25…It is the story of a couple

Vs 3  This man’s name was Nabal, and his wife, Abigail, was a sensible and beautiful woman. But Nabal, a descendant of Caleb, was crude and mean in all his dealings.  From the scriptures above we see two contrasting personalities, Abigail and Nabal. Abigail was a sensible, intelligent and beautiful woman and Nabal was a crude, harsh, mean and evil man

Let us consider this two closely

Let’s see the testimonies of Nabal’s servant and wife (Abigail) concerning Nabal

Vs 17  You need to know this and figure out what to do, for there is going to be trouble for our master and his whole family. He’s so ill-tempered that no one can even talk to him!

The servant calls his boss a ill tempered man who does not take people’s advice.

Vs 25  I know Nabal is a wicked and ill-tempered man; please don’t pay any attention to him. He is a fool, just as his name suggests. But I never even saw the young men you sent

Abigail calls her husband a wicked, ill-tempered and foolish man.

Let us look at Abigail’s life

Vs 23 When Abigail saw David, she quickly got off her donkey and bowed low before him…… She waa a submissive woman and one honour and respect people

Vs 24  She fell at his feet and said, “I accept all blame in this matter, my lord. Please listen to what I have to say. See Abigail interceding and taking the blame for her “foolish” husband, what a woman!!!

Vs 18,27 Abigail wasted no time. She quickly gathered 200 loaves of bread, two wineskins full of wine, five sheep that had been slaughtered, nearly a bushel of roasted grain, 100 clusters of raisins, and 200 fig cakes. She packed them on donkeys………And here is a present that I, your servant, have brought to you and your young men. See her heart of service and her level of hospitality

Vs 24-31 shows also that she was a woman of gracious with words. You remember Paul’s admonitions to the people of Colosse in chapter 4 vs 6 ” Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone” ….. She knew that before time.

Did you see how David jump at her immediately Nabal died? Check vs 39…. Abigail was indeed a treasure

After checking these two lives, I feel like crying for “Sister” Abigail.

How did she end up as Mr Nabal’s wife? Was it because she did not pay attention to detail? Was it because she was pressured by friends and family members?  Was it because she decided to neglect this little shortcomings in Nabal’s life all in the name of love? Was she deceived by the fact that Nabal is from the lineage of Caleb

I do not seem to have answers for the questions above (you can check the featured image for the thoughts of a friend) but I have some words for you.Let me say these to you:

You deserve the best, do not settle for less…God is making you, He will bring the best for you as His daughter or son.

You are a treasure sisters, do not cast yourself before a swine. You are a king brothers, you deserve the best, wait for it.

Don’t Stop

I remember a particular meeting with some brothers and a senior friend was talking to us about communing with God. He asked us a question “If God permits you, will you prefer doing all your prayers at once for a lifetime or doing it daily?”. Left to me, I will prefer to do it once and for all but God doesn’t want that kind of subscription.

God wants us to seek Him daily and know Him more intimately, how did I come to this conclusion? Phrases like “pray without ceasing (I Thessalonians 5:17), renewing your mind (Rom 12:2) and so much more are my premises for that conclusion. They all indicate continuity.

2 Cor 3:18(MSG) All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him… We are meant to enjoy greater glory as we behold the beauties of the holies of our maker, is this not wonderful? If you go on, you will see more glory.

I am more concerned about spiritual growth as I write this, some of us may be tired of studying God’s Word and praying, but I am asking us to look beyond now as God helps us to stay and spend more time with Him.

Daniel 11:32b (TLB) But the people who know their God shall be strong and do great things…  My people there is strength to do great things as we know our God more. The more you come to behold His face, the more the strength is released on to you for your day-to-day activities, strength is already made available for daily work… You will agree this is also amazing.

Isa 40:31(MSG) But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind… In coming daily to God in prayers, there is renewal of strength and building up of more strength.

Our growth may not be too obvious but it is not yet time to give up.

Keep running!!! Don’t stop, the track may be rocky but the reward is worth it. (I don’t want to make this a long one, quickly check through Hebrews 12:2).

Let me end with a quote from a good role model “Spiritual growth is a lifelong pursuit. We grow in spiritual maturity moment by moment, day by day, year by year. In many ways, spiritual exercise is a lot like physical exercise. If you stop exercising physically, your body may not show the results of inactivity for a while. But one day you wake up and find everything is sagging in all the wrong places” — Jim George.

I pray that the Lord grant you strength, endurance and patience you need with joy.

I have a little gift for you in the comments box

Eager but unprepared

Hmm! Early this year after the “happy new year celebration”I started seeing the phrase “This decade”on social media. In the mood of the festive period I joined them too. My message was very simple “In this new decade most of us will be becoming wives, husbands, fathers and also mothers”.

After the festive period celebration was over, reality set in.
How well have I served the Lord? Do I really know Him? Am I enjoying or just enduring this unique phase of my life? Friends, answer those questions for yourselves too.

We are emotionally anxious but not prepared, most of us (myself inclusive) thought we can just stroll with time and soon our soulmate will be knocking at the door smiling with roses/ring in his hand or with smiles and approvals in her mouth and face. Look, if you are just preparing when you should be ready, you are already late.

This is one of the best phases of our lives and our utmost desire at this time should be “getting busy for the Lord”1 Cor 7:25 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:“not waiting for innocent people who will complete us or cover our mess.

Be single means becoming whole and finding out your uniqueness is the real key to happiness in marriage — Myles Monroe, this is a unique phase of our life and it is as though some of us are wasting it.

We all want godly relationships and homes but we do not want to develop godly character! Errant nonsense I call this, because only godly character begets godly relationships. No man wants a liability, an asset is what everyone longs to have.

Let me whisper this in your ears “You can only love a woman/man as much as you love God

One of my brothers in Christ once said and I quote “Forget marriage why not prepare yourself for yourself”, what does that mean? Discover what God will have you do and prepare yourself with His help.

I round off with a quote from Myles Munroe “Until you do not need marriage to complete you, you are not ready for marriage“.

Incomplete

Just believe! Is that a familiar cliché?
It is quite disheartening to know that there are so many people who claim to be believers in our days but not many who live as one. It is an eye sore to see men who cannot be differentiated from the people of the world.

The church is busy proclaiming the incomplete gospel. We tell people to give their lives to Jesus but it seems as though we dont know what that means, maybe that is why we do not tell them what it means.

We enjoy preaching cheap grace, we just tell men to believe….”just believe gospel”is too cheap compared to what Christ did on the cross, we must start pointing men to Christ on the cross, making them understand what it took God to die for them. We must also say to men what Christ said in Matthew 11:28-30 (Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light — There is a yoke) and to the words of Paul in Colossians 2:6 (You accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, so continue to live following him). We must begin to tell men what giving their lives to Christ mean in the real sense of it.

We must stop painting the gospel as one without responsibility, we must stop making men think the gospel is all for goodies, we must let men understand that even in the midst of adversities it doesn’t mean God is not good.

We must begin to also follow Christ fully, we must begin to be responsible for our growth, we must begin to keep adding to our faith as implied in 2 Peter 1:5-7 (Because you have these blessings, do all you can to add to your life these things: to your faith add goodness; to your goodness add knowledge; to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add patience; to your patience add devotion to God; to your devotion add kindness toward your brothers and sisters in Christ, and to this kindness add love..). We must keep being committed to the God’s Word and to prayers.

We must become committed to this indeed, then really The Kingdom of God is come and His will be done.We all need help as regards all this and we must beg God for our lives daily. Shall we pray?

Not an Accident II

It was on a cool evening in December and birthday bells were chiming. Everyone were taking pictures in turns and it was my turn on the list for the “order” of photography. As I stepped forward to get a “shot”,I heard the celebrant say to me go away you are too tall. It was as though a razor was driven into a balloon, that was a massive blow on me.

I felt embarrassed, why did God have to make me like this?Is this how I will keep living in rejection and ridicule? I carried the hurt everywhere I went, I don’t want this height again,I am too tall, why I am this tall? Trust me when I say God is good,He came through for me as I stumbled on Rick Warren’s book titled “Purpose driven life”.I will share what I learnt from the book concerning this matter.

The first truth you must reckon with, is that God planned you before your parents even conceived you.You should also understand that God chose recommended every detail of your body, your race, skin and every other of your characteristics. It was not by chance.

Psa 139:15(MSG): You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.

God is good and very organized, He does not believe in crash program so He plans before time

Psa 139:16(MSG) You saw me before I was born and scheduled
each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded
in your Book!”

What engineered our making by God was His love

Eph1:4b (MSG) ……he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.

God values and loves you, this you must always remember

James 1:18(NCV) God decided to give us life through the word of truth so we might be the most important of all the things he made.

But I don’t understand myself, what can I do?Yes,you do not have the ability to understand yourself. No product know itself than its maker,God knows you and you can only find purpose in Him.

Rom 12:3(MSG) “The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us.”

Not an accident I

Good day beloved,How are you today? This is my first post here and my new blog.

I will be talking about something profound today. We are in a world of varying opinions on different matters even to the point of our appearance, some of us like tall people, some short people, some slim people, some fat people, some people who are dark in complexion, some people who are fair in complexion, some love people with round face, some people with oblong face, some people with square shape face, some prefer the curly hair while some prefer the blonde hair.

All this preferences are not a problem in themselves but you know the human is naturally selfish,we love our opinions and we just go ahead to rubbish what others hold on to

Have you ever been at the receiving end? Were you ever dismissed because of your height? Have you suffered discrimination because of your race or colour? Have you suffered rejection for who you are?

If your answer is yes, when this happened to you, what was your response? What did you do?

What do you do when the devil taunt you with some features or details of your life you do not seem to like?
